【摘要】:Thislaboratorytestmethodcanbeusedonmulti-plyroofingandwaterproofingsystemstomeasure,classify,andcountthevoidsbetweenfeltplies,betweeninsulationlayers,andbetweenthemembraneandinsulationlayers.Voidsbetweenthefeltpliesorbetweenthemembraneandinsulationlayerinmulti-plysystemscanbetheseedsforfutureblisters.Inone-plysystems,thistestmethodcanbeusedtocountandmeasurethevoidsintheadhesiveinlapsand,inadheredsystems,intheadhesivebetweenthemembraneandtheinsulation.Voidsinthelappingadhesivecanbethesourceofleakagewhilevoidsinthelappingadhesiveorintheadhesivebetweenthemembraneandinsulationcanbetheseedsforfutureblisters.1.1Thistestmethodincludestwoproceduresformeasuringtheareaofvoidsintheadhesivebetweenmaterialsusedinroofingandwaterproofingsystems.Bothproceduresrequireacountofthenumberofvoids.1.2ThevaluesgiveninSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
