【摘要】:ThispartofBS5871specifiesinstallationandmaintenancerequirementsforfluedfixedspaceheatingappliancesburning2ndand3ndfamilygasesforthepurposeofheatingroomsorspacesindomesticorcommercialpremises.Itappliestoappliancesknownasradiantgasfires,rediantconvectorgasfires,convectorheaters,andheatingstoves.Combinedappliancesofthetypewhereagasfireisusedinconjunctionwithaboilerorcirculatorarealsocoveredinsofarastheinstallationofthecombinedapplianceisconcerned.Thisstandardcoverstheselectionofasuitableappliance,theflueingand/orventilationrequirements,andothermeasuresmecessarytoensureasafeinstallation.Thecentralheatingand/orhotwatersystemconnectedtoacombinedapplianceisnotwithinthescopeofthisstandardandreferenceshouldbemadetoBS5449andBS5546forthispartofsuchaninstallation.Thisstandardisnotapplicableto:a)mobileandportableappliancesconformingtoBSEN449;orb)appliancesintouringcaravans;orc)open-frontedradiant-convenctorheaterswithoutadressguard.Additionalrequirementsfortheinstallationoffire/backboilersandfire/backcirculatorsarespecifiedinClauses15,16,17and18.
